Korobeiniki / Коробейники | Slowed + Reverb Korobeiniki in old Russia were vendors who sold various goods ranging from fabric to books, and the song, which is originally a poem written by Nikolay Nekrasov, details the relationship between a Korobeiniki and his lover Katya. The song however is more known as the "Tetris song" and even those who know of it's real origin associate it with the Soviet Union due to the song being sung by Red Army as well, however this simply is not the case as the poem was published in 1861 and quickly took on as a song between the peasantry.
