The path of ABDULJALIL, like the path of a lone leopard amidst the silent ruins and mountains... He hears the beating of his heart, feels the pulse of life in every cell of his body, he feels his unity with nature. Here, at the peak of altitude in the abandoned village, he finds his life's meanings, and finds them in reflections and memories of life once bustling here. Since I fled the world, renounced everything, entrusting it to Providence, I neither pursue nor despise it. My being is like a cloud floating in the sky: it has no support, nor dissatisfaction. From 2008 to 2015, a series of documentary biographical films about ABDULJALIL, a resident of the ancient, high-mountain abandoned village of Dagestan called GAMSUTL, were made. He lived completely alone for 26 years, among the silent silence, where no children's laughter echoes, women do not go for water, people do not graze cattle..., and before the next trip to the mountains in April 2015, we received the sad news that our hero had passed away in his 57th year, having lived in solitude for 26 years. According to the will of his father ABDULJALIL, he never left the land of his ancestors, his native village GAMSUTL, where he was buried, leaving a good memory of himself. Eight years after Abduljalil's death, we decided it was time to tell people about his life. Hundreds of thousands of tourists from all over the world visited Gamsutl, not knowing and not seeing who lived there in complete solitude. С тех пор, как я бежал от мира, как отринул все что, вручив, Провидению, я не гонюсь за ней и от нее не отвращаюсь. Существо мое -- что облачко, плывущее по небу: нет у него опоры, нет и недовольства. С 2008 года, по 2015 год снимался цикл документально - биографических фильмов об АБДУЛЖАЛИЛЕ. жителе, древнего, высокогорного заброшенного села Дагестана, под названием ГАМСУТЛЬ. 26 лет жил он совершенно один, среди молчащего безмолвия, там где, не раздается детский смех, женщины не идут по воду, люди не пасут скот.... , и перед очередным выездом на съемки в горы, в апреле 2015 года, нам пришла печальная весть, прожив в уединении 26 лет на 57 году, ушел из жизни наш герой. По завещанию отца АБДУЛЖАЛИЛ, до конца своих дней, так и не оставил землю своих предков, родной аул ГАМСУТЛЬ, где он и был похоронен, оставив о себе добрую память. Через 8 лет, со дня смерти Абдулжалила , мы решили, что пришла пора рассказать о его жизни людям, сотни тысяч туристов со всего мира, посетили Гамсутль не зная и не видя о том кто же жил в нем в полном одиночестве. #dagestan #Caucasus #gamsutl
