Îïèñàíèå: c/n 194 Built in 1952 as a CL-13 Sabre Mk.2 for the Royal Canadian Air Force with the serial 19294. Flew with 421(F) Squadron, initially at St Hubert, but came to the UK in Autumn 1952 as part of Operation Leap Frog II. It was transferred to Greece in June 1954 and re-designated as a F-86E(M), flying with the Hellenic Air Force using the same serial, ‘19146’. In June 1963 it appeared at the Paris Air Show as one of the Hellenic Flame display team. Greece retired its last Sabres in 1965 and this example has been preserved on a petrol station roof since 2005. It has recently been repainted in a corporate blue and white scheme with an entirely false civil registration. Thessaloniki - Peraias, Greece 5th November 2022
