Îïèñàíèå: c/n 27A Built in 1935 as the prototype Kite and given the temporary British Gliding Association identity BGA222, changing to BGA236 in November 1935. During WW2 she was impressed into military service, first with the Glider Training Squadron of the Central Landing Establishment at Ringway and later with No.1 Glider Training Squadron at Haddenham. At some point she was allocated the British military serial VD213 and after the war she flew with the Air Training Corps. She was UK civil registered as ‘G-ALUD’ between July 1949 and July 1952 and later reverted to BGA236 with the code AAF. Restored to beautiful condition, she is seen displaying at the Shuttleworth Collection’s 2022 Race Day. Old Warden, Bedfordshire, UK. 2nd October 2022
