Îïèñàíèå: c/n 191-900 Built for the USAF as 52-5204 and known to have served with the 416th Fighter-Bomber Squadron, part of the 21st Fighter-Bomber Wing based at Toul-Rosieres Air Base in France. It was transferred to Portugal in July 1960 where it flew as ‘5338’ until retired in August 1978. When the Museu Do Ar’s F-86F ‘5320’ was badly damaged in a transport accident in 2009, the museum combined the stored fuselage of ‘5338’ with the wings and tail from ‘5320’ to form a complete exhibit. Although the museum has continued to display it’s Sabre as ‘5320’, the actual identity of the fuselage remains ‘5338’. Museo do Ar, Sintra, Portugal. 20th September 2022
