Îïèñàíèå: c/n 6899 Built in 1945 for the Royal Air Force as a Dominie I with the British military serial NR825. Delivered to Portugal in November 1945 and became CS-ADI with Companhia de Transportes Aereos (CTA). Joined the Portuguese Air Force in March 1950 and may originally have been serialled ‘507’ before becoming ‘2307’. Retired in 1968, it was stored at Sintra before joining the Museo da Ar collection in 1979. Initially displayed at Alverca, it was stored between 1987 and 2001 but is now back on display. Museo do Ar, Sintra, Portugal. 20th September 2022 Note: - Several sources quote that this airframe is really c/n 6430 which was built as G-AFMA, impressed as Z7255 during WW2 then became CR-LCO. This seems unlikely as it was withdrawn from use, in Angola, during 1961. The history for c/n 6899 makes it a much more likely candidate, as well as genuinely being ‘2307’.
