Описание: The Puszta Belt lasted from the Pacific Ocean to the Alps. This area was home to the peoples of the Puszta. Atilla's capital was around todays Budapest, named after Atilla's brother, Buda. The Byzantines claimed that Scythian – later Hunnic was the same as the language of the Avars, Hungarians, Bulgars, and Szeklers all of whom claim descent from Scythians and European Huns. The Huns’ enigmatic language is preserved across many Eurasian Puszta tongues. The Medieval Hungarian Chronicles are online. German admiration for the Huns goes back at least as far as the medieval Nibelungen-Lied, one of the sources of Wagner's Ring des Nibelungen, though Wagner omitted the Atilla (Etzel) part of the story, which describes the revenge taken by Siegfried's widow on her blood-relatives when they visit her and her new husband Etzel at the latter's court in Buda (now Budapest). Fritz Lang's film of this epic offers a fascinating representation of the emperor of the Hunnic Empire. Atilla formed a formidable confederacy out of previously unaligned tribes and consequently became the most powerful force in Central Europe and Western Europe during his reign as King of Huns seated at (todays) Budapest. Atilla the Hun teached his tribal chieftains and warriors time-tested principles of leadership that transcend cultures and era. No signs of the use of underhanded or brutal techniques. On the contrary: he was the only one not to devastete Rome, or to mercy the roman army at Catalauneum. All of his lessons are ethical and posits techniques that highly-successful leaders apply even today. Source: www.smithsonianmag.com/history/nice-things-to-say-about-a... 19. sz'azad
