Описание: A digital photograph of the projection of a dusty slide taken in 1986. The view is to the Acropolis, seen from Monastiraki Square in Athens, Greece. Back then, the square didn't have the fancy pavement it has now, and probably not the weird modern art neither? On top of the hill we are just able to se the front (or back) of the "Erechtheion", but I'm not quite sure about that? Google maps I remember the weather as freakingly hot, and the climb to the top was not as fun as I thought it would be. Walking up a hill is a challenge for a guy coming from the flattest country on Earth, except Holland of course :-) Once up on top, I realised the sky was not pale grey as it looked from below. It was just the smog, which covered most of the city. Back then cars could really stink up a city! Yes, it was an awesome time, just not for people who died from a fatal asthma attack ...
