Описание: 1 June 2019. Another few snaps of the demolished space. This was once a storage building. The High Road shop premises at the front were refurbished at public expense and provided to the starchitects firm John McAslan + Partners (JMP) as a free studio space. Such generosity by Haringey Council. After standing empty and unused for many months. In June 2019 the premises at the front are were occupied by an art business. Leaving only this mucky yard as a legacy to remember John McAslan and JMP. I have never found out who and the reason why someone decided to demolish the storage space. Leaving it open for dumped rubbish, graffiti, and other publicly convenient purposes. Maybe someone at John McAslan + Partners recalls and can tell me the reason. I once asked Haringey staff - who claimed not to know. They also told me a wall camera belonged to Transport for London. Since my last visit it was positive to see that dumping been removed and most graffiti cleaned off the walls. Only a few cans and litter hinted that street drinkers may still be paying some natural calls here. John and colleagues, please rest assured, you're not forgotten and your legacy lives on.
