A similar message has been drawn by others. Including UK residents who form Refugees Welcome groups. And by other groups such as Citizens UK. In 2015 a direct link was argued by a London rabbi Mark Goldsmith who went to the Houses of Parliament with a group of elderly members of his synagogue to meet their local MP, and discuss the refugee crisis in Syria. ".... the conversations inside that bus revealed an extraordinary gathering of people. As we journeyed they shared their own experiences and trauma of being child refugees from Nazi Germany and Austria, most of them coming to this country alone."
