Описание: 22 April 2018. Mirabel (a year old) at a grown-up's birthday party. It's after midnight. But she'd been asleep and awoke with fresh energy to crawl around rapidly. Then - cushioned by her dad's arm - played with her toys and my keys. What do you do with keys? She began by getting to know their shapes and feel. What more are keys good for? Jingling of course. This small bunch fitted her hands and it tinkled nicely. Sounds Mirabel can control, starting & stopping the musical noise as she wished. Bringing lots of smiles from her and the grown-ups Then something else to try. A large colourful bag handily within reach. There's nothing risky inside. So her mum and dad and me leave her to it. Mirabel puts my keys into the bag and lifts up the blue flap to cover the top of it. Then re-opening the flap she looks for and finds the keys and takes them out. Repeating her experiment several times. A small scientist at work. ____________________________________ § I'm re-reading a book by Alison Gopnik, Andrew Meltzoff and Patricia Kuhl.
