Описание: Why? Please scroll down and see photos below taken on 19 April 2018 and on 22 July 2015. It showed a row of overflowing waste bins in Penshurst Road Tottenham N17. The bins serve nearby flats in public housing owned by Haringey Council. (They are emptied by Veolia, Haringey Council's waste management contractors.) The bin area used to lack a barrier preventing public use. I was told the bins were regularly used not only by residents of the flats but also by other people. This might include nearby traders or residents from elsewhere. So those bins were quickly filled and sometimes overflowing. The new arrangement screens-off the bins behind a fence. It appears to be working. Though I didn't get a chance to speak to any local residents to ask for their views.
