Описание: There used to be a litter bin on the paving stone which I've noted. (To see my two 'notes', please hover your mouse over the photo.) Previously the bin seemed to operate as a sort of rubbish "magnet effect". In other words, people were leaving bags of waste alongside the bin. Perhaps on the basis that as someone would come along to empty the bins, so they would take the extra rubbish as well. This bin and others were removed. Red and white notices on the posters threatened fines for dumping. I assume this was intended to remove the "magnet effect". A sensible experiment. But when I took new photos, it hadn't yet succeeded. Some people made New Year offerings to the garbage elves.
