Описание: 30 November 2017. At the corner of Somerset Road and Rawlinson Terrace, Tottenham, London N17. To be fair, I have recently walked past this corner at a time when there were just a few autumn leaves and nothing dumped. But this is a regular dumping spot and, more often than not, there is a fresh small pile of bags, litter and maybe other rubbish. Plainly, putting up a warning notice is not enough. This location appears to be used as an established informal dumpsite. Perhaps by nearby traders, residents or fly-tippers. It is part of what I've called "The Third System". The other two systems are collections from homes and businesses and "bring sites" such as the former Reuse & Recycling Centre in Park View Road N17. With various waste collection charges recently imposed or increased by Haringey Council, and their closure of the Reuse and Recycling site, it is no surprise if street dumping may have recently increased. I write "may have" because that's my own impression. Also that of several Haringey friends and neighbours. We may be mistaken.
