Описание: William Street in Haringey Council's Love Lane Estate. One of many local streets which the current political leaders of Haringey Council propose to demolish and destroy as part of their social cleansing plans, in complicity with the developers Lendlease. The name "Love Lane Estate" will be erased and 'airbrushed' from history by our borough Council's legalised vandalism. In their plans they now refer to the neighbourhood as "High Road West". Perhaps the renaming was to smooth the gentrification process. Or maybe to avoid the stigma attached to the word "estate" when applied to public housing. (Though not to city or rural "landed estates" owned by the very rich.) High Road, Tottenham is a north/south main road across the eastern part of Tottenham. It runs for approximately 2.3 miles (3.7 km) between the borders of the London boroughs of Enfield and Hackney.
