Описание: Elected local councils across the UK have steadily shrinking budgets - especially to maintain and care for parks and open spaces. So I won't apologise for getting irritated when I see Haringey Council wasting yet more public money on another pretentious and pointless sign with the infamous jiggly joego logo. By the way, there's no gate. It's someone's fanciful pretension. And the paths across Tottenham Green are already "branded" with huge signs. As for the logo - new in 2015 - it cost at least lb86,000. The politician responsible gave this justification for the logo and rebranding: "The council is spending the money in a bid to create an identity that 'communicates who we are today'. Did they succeed? I very much hope so. Communicating to voters that some of our former local "rulers" were a bunch of clowns with no qualms about wasting other people's cash on this and other vanity projects. _______________________________________
