фото: Phil Jackson - How a developer destroys ordinary Londoners' homes

Описание: "A fifty-fifty split between the Council [Haringey] "and a company called Lendlease. Australian multinational company. Anybody heard of Lendlease? Lendlease promised to deliver social housing to Southwark. When they went in Southwark had 1,194 homes. Council homes at Council rent, on the Heygate Estate. When they left, they had 84." A warm summer evening, 3 July 2017. Phil was speaking on the steps of Haringey Civic Centre, Wood Green, London N22. At the demonstration against Haringey Council's planned agreement with Lendlease to demolish thousands of existing homes and build new towers in a high-risk, damaging HDV - "Haringey Development Vehicle". Which I prefer to call Homes Destruction Viciousness. ____________________________________ § How power operates in modern Britain: with absolute contempt.
