Описание: I reported the rubbish dumped opposite 35-37 Bury Road, N22 to Haringey Council using the free website FixMyStreet. Veolia, Haringey council's waste contractors replied, telling me that "a crew will be deployed within the next 24 hours to clear the fly-tip. So I assumed the rubbish on the pavement was soon cleared. It included items about a "dedicated Clear Out Day"; flytippers caught on camera; and reports from members of the public "to help catch fly-tippers". Positive initiatives. But with no indication of overall trends or medium and longer term impact. And for me at least, leaving out a major issue that most rubbish left on our streets appears to be from routine dumping of small quantities by residents.
