Описание: Zena Brabazon is the elected Haringey councillor for this ward. Walking nearby, she asked me to take a couple of photos of this aign on the corner of Alfoxton Avenue and Green Lanes N8. It announced works further south along in Green Lanes which began in July 2013 and were completed the following year. On 22 October 2016 the fading completely unnecessary sign remained. Zena asked as senior officer to get it removed. It has since gone. ___________________________ § Explore this location with Google Street View. § Many decades ago I knew a clerk in a legal office who offered some useful maxims to his colleagues. I remember two. 1: If a balls-up is capable of remedy then remedy it. If a balls-up is incapable of remedy, worrying doesn't help. 2: A job isn't finished until all the paperwork is done. A lesson from this photo may be a need for work systems which include someone checking and removing redundant signage.
