I realise that many people may disagree with his views - or prefer to believe that he is mistaken. His track record suggests, on the contrary, that he should be taken extremely seriously. Dr Hillman's website is here. Note that much of his early writing can be freely downloaded from the website. You can also read about interviews with him in the Guardian newspaper. In "A Chain Reaction" 2 November 2003, Anne Karpf wrote: "For 30 years Mayer Hillman has been busily turning conventional political thinking on its head. From road safety to renewable energy, he has come up with solutions that are hard to dismiss. Which is probably why you've never heard of him." On 2 April 2018 Patrick Barkham was welcomed by Dr Mayer with "a beaming smile" and the words "We're Doomed". Better still, read Mayer Hillman's view published on his own website on 1 April 2018.
