Описание: One of many variations of Manchester's Bee symbol around the city over the summer. This giant bee - named "Bee Hopeful" - was one of several colourful examples we saw In the Royal Exchange Theatre on the evening of 21 July 2018. This particular bee was from Milton St John's Primary School Mossley, Ashton-under Lyne, OL5 0BN. The text reads: "The pupils at Milton St John’s would like to share with you their interpretation of what Mossley means to them. They have enjoyed sharing their favourite memories of places they have visited in the local environment whilst designing their Bee. The countryside within their home town is a peaceful place that helps them to feel calm and safe". § The bee sculptures were part of a project: Manchester Bee Trail On their website Kirstie Pelling wrote: "A Great Way to Bee in the City" "Manchester’s streets are suddenly buzzing with people looking for bees. The Manchester bee trail, Bee in the City is a fun new public art event drawing on the city’s iconic symbol. There are over a hundred 1.8 metre bee sculptures dotted around Manchester, designed by professional and emerging artists." § More of Manchester's ubiquitous symbol of the city's industrious bees. With an inspiring statement of its inclusiveness.
