Описание: 2 July 2016. Here's a recurring problem. The litter bin at this location is regularly stuffed full to overflowing. It's also a sort of "magnet" for other rubbish to be left next to the bin. I guess people think that sooner of later it will all be removed. In other words the litter bin has become an informal 'pick-up-point'. Meanwhile it made the street unpleasant. The building behind the bin and dumped bags is the new Protheroe House, impressive recently built Extra Care Housing run by the One Housing Group. _____________________________ § Click to read my photoblog on Framing and Reframing Problems. Applied to the problem of people who use litter bins as pick-up/ collection points for all sorts of household waste. § I used to link on this page to a superb blog by Charlotte Pell - unfortunately no longer online. She suggested how a systems theory approach might help with this type of problem. Beginning with going to the place to observe what's happening. Charlotte Pell referred to the principle of: "Genchi Genbutsu" here explained by the Economist magazine.
