Описание: Another box painted by Morganic. (Morganico?) This one is near the junction of Borough High Street and Marshalsea Road SE1. Unlike the others it's not about another place or time. There's no pointer to Thameside stories involving medieval bishops, knights and pilgrims. Instead we're shown aspects of the place where the observer stands. In particular there are two front views of the church of St George the Martyr. True, that particular George may or may not be another made-up story. But surely the box artist(s?) invitation is to look around and observe the here and now more closely. Paying attention to the church itself and to nearby buildings. (Though curiously not to the prominent spire of the Shard.) One noticeable building is at the corner of Great Dover Street and Borough High Street. Are those art deco features topping the block? It's Mitre House, the headquarters of the London Probation Service. So maybe it's a stylized bishop's hat? § Google Street View.
