Описание: (Photo above and excerpt are offered as a review.) On 8 January 2018 I was delighted to see that the Londonist website included an interview by Tabish Khan with artist Lucinda Rogers. Zena Brabazon, Martin Ball and I met Lucinda in June 2015. She had been making drawings of businesses on the Peacock Industrial Estate in Tottenham. Then as now, the businesses in this area were under threat by Haringey borough council determined to drive through its plans for large scale demolition of homes and business premises. In Tottenham, as later in Ridley Road Market Hackney, Lucinda Rogers' was an artist-as-reporter. Spending hours drawing from life, as people themselves worked. On 13 December 2017. He writes: "Lucinda Rogers is a British reportage illustrator whose career has become intertwined with activism, working on campaigns to save parts of London from the greed of urban developers in places such as Spitalfields and Vittoria Wharf, Hackney Wick.
