Описание: Accepted by the USAF in January 1981, it was first assigned to the 76th Tactical Fighter Squadron, 23rd Tactical Fighter Wing, at England AFB, LA. By September 1986 it was with the 74th TFS of the 23rd TFW. From August 1990 to March 1991 the plane was deployed to Saudi Arabia for combat in Operation Desert Storm. About June 1991 the plane was transferred to the 21st Fighter Squadron of the 20th Fighter Wing at Shaw AFB, SC, and it was converted as an OA-10A. By May of 2000 it was back with the 74th Fighter Squadron of the 23rd Fighter Group, which was now at Pope AFB, NC. to AMARC as AC0219 Jun 27, 2000. Returned to service Sep 5, 2000 with the 74th FS. By March 2002 to early 2003 the plane was deployed to Afghanistan for Operation Enduring Freedom. In October 2006 the squadron moved to Moody AFB, GA, and within the next couple years it was converted to A-10C. By September of 2008 it was with the 75th FS of the 23rd FG, still at Moody, and it deployed again to Afghanistan until August 2009. By 2015 it was with its current unit, the 66th Weapons Squadron, 57th Wing, at Nellis AFB, NV.
