The piece is a nod to the Romantic period of art during the 19th century that wanted to represent emotionally, the cultural and social changes of the Industrial Revolution Highly sexual in nature, the mural seeks to create an inspiring urban space to celebrate the power of art, the beauty of human sexuality, and the freedom of expression. Expressing the human body through art, without censorship, encourages an empowered, progressive, sex positive culture. Sometimes controversial, the representation of sexuality creates a dialogue between people, that is vital in helping to create a safer, happier, sexier environment for both men and women. The mural is unique in that it was created completely in oil using the techniques of the old masters.
