Описание: Founded in the thirteenth century, overhauled in Gothic in the fifteenth, treated to the artwork shown in the late seventeenth, and restored between 2013 and 2016. Wow. I paid about seven euros to get in and was almost alone while ogling the interior, likely thanks to the hated pandemic. Valencia was my last stop in another rent-a-car trip. It shouldn't have been; the high-speed AVE serves Valencia. The 300 km/h rail ride from Madrid takes about half as long as the drive, and will deposit the sightseer at a Renfe station just south of Valencia tourist attractions without parking or traffic hassles. I wasn't wild about wearing a mask non-stop for two and a half hours, but felt safe during a late September AVE trip to Sevilla. I took many more shots of the San Nicol'as interior, but have almost maxed out the 1,000 shot limit of my Flickr account, and want to be stingy about what I upload.
