фото: Puente Romano (Roman Bridge) of C'ordoba, Spain

Описание: ... as photographed in late afternoon from the roof of Torre de la Calahorra. I'm surprised that I can't quickly find 1,001 variations of this shot online. Photographers can waltz into Calahorra Tower for under 5€, puff up stairs to the rooftop observation deck, frame the shot e-zy, even kneel to brace elbows. I was alone for most of my minutes there, didn't have to rudely shove other photogs off the roof to get a nice viewing angle. Wikipedia says that this bridge dates to the first century BC, but that the Moors built most of what now stands about nine hundred years later. As for Torre Calahorra: the Almohad Caliphate threw it up to protect the bridge in the twelfth century. Thanks, guys! Q: So what's that huge building across the river at the top of the shot? A: The Mosque-Cathedral! Keep clicking the right arrow. C'ordoba's train station is a brisk thirty minute walk from Puente Romano. Visiting Spain? Interested in riding the rails here? I wrote a blog post tell-all, just for you: transitophile.com/chango/rail-day-trips-from-madrid/
