Описание: Another shot taken while trying to figure my way around, this time in Basel, a modestly proportioned city on the Swiss/French/German border. (France lies north of the city's western half, and Germany lies north of the eastern half, with the Rhine flowing between.) I boarded the wrong tram at the Basel central station, realized my mistake at the Zoo Bachletten stop, spotted the church, and decided to give my dSLR a short workout before consulting the ZVV transit app to get my bearings again. (Besides, it was Easter Sunday; what better day to frame a church in the viewfinder?) Believe it or don't, Switzerland boasts four national languages: German in the east, French in the west, Italian in the south, and the obscure Romansh, which I didn't encounter and wouldn't have recognized if I had. Thankfully -- for tourists like me, at least -- English is also understood most everywhere.
