Описание: A Stadelhofen-bound 'Forchbahn' arrives at Zurich's Waltikon station. Trains on this hundred year old route are owned and operated by Forchbahn AG, and incorporated in Zurich's transit network as the S18 line. Forchbahns can hit a nice clip on a straightaway, as I discovered while riding this line in the other direction. A local told me that the housing complex shown was planned by community members, rather than a central Zurich housing agency. I gather that Swiss government is much less top down than what we're used to in the states, but can't provide further details. He thinks the development has worked out well, and opined that his neighbors think so, too.
