Gioconda "Gio" Hulton was born in Venice on 5 October 1887, and died 18 September 1940 in a motor coach accident and was buried in Nice, France [from wikipedia] Hence her sojurn ner Shrewsbury. The card had been redirected by Adriana and Vittorio Schiavoni, Venice with whom she had been staying.
