It also features a new concept in easy film loading: The camera back opens just far enough to permit dropping in the 35mm film cassette and when the camera back is closed the film automatically advances to frame number one. If there is insufficient illumination a warning light flashes in the finder, and when you press a small switch the built-in flash pops up, ready for action. After the last picture has been taken, the photographer presses a different switch and the rewind mechanism automatically draws the film back into its cassette. The Fujica DL-100 (Auto Ace in Japan) is a compact autofocus camera released in 1983. It is not to be confused with the later Fujifilm DL-100 released in 2002.
