Îïèñàíèå: This tent-shaped temple in the pseudo-Russian style, with a chapel and a fence, was erected according to the project of the Yaroslavl architect Pozdeev in 1891-95 with the funds of the tobacco manufacturer Dunaev. Sretenskaya church attracts attention by creative processing of the motives of ancient Yaroslavl architecture, by virtuoso mastery of brickwork. Its tall hipped roof, built on the site of a 17th-century Church, still dominates the historical center of the city. Currently, the church is operating, one of the most visited in the city.
