Описание: Mineralnye Vody Railway Station is one of the most important historical sights of the city. The history of the whole city originates from the construction of a railway station in this region. The station was built back in 1875, but then the station was called Sultanovskaya, because these lands belonged to the Crimean sultan. Three years later, the village formed around the station received the official status of a settlement. Today, this railway station is one of the most important nodal stations in the entire region; it connects the central cities of Russia with the North Caucasus. During the opening of the station, the railway station was completely different from what it is today. A more modern picturesque building with snow-white columns was built only in 1957.
